1. What this policy covers
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The Site also uses other browser storage (local storage, session storage and a service-worker cache). This policy lists what is used on verifiedspecialist.com and why. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Strictly necessary
- Security cookies that our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may set to tell people and bots apart and to block abusive traffic.
- Account cookies: phone verification and beta sign-ups run through the Specialist Network’s shared account service on authorityspecialist.com, which sets its own cookies when you sign in there.
3. Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded after your first scroll or click and sets its cookies (names starting with _ga) to measure visits and page views. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
4. Browser storage
- The access form keeps the website and the phone number you typed (local storage and session storage), so it can be prefilled.
- A service worker may cache Site files to speed up repeat visits.
This storage stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent verification from working.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top of the page shows the current version. Questions: contact@authorityspecialist.com.
